7th Annual Golf Outing with Johnny Roland, Emery Moorehead and Brent Novoselsky

Former Chicago Bears players Emery Moorehead and Brent Novoselsky, former coach Johnny Roland, and others who are still confirming, will take a swing at ending domestic violence at A Safe Place’s 7th annual Golf Outing on Thursday, June 18, 2009.

The outing, designed for golf enthusiasts and “duffers” alike features lunch, golf and dinner at White Deer Run Golf Club in Vernon Hills, on of Lake County’s premiere courses. Opportunities to golf with former Bears and celebrity players are available, and proceeds from the event will support the counseling, shelter, housing and advocacy programs of A Safe Place, Lake County’s sole provider dedicated exclusively to serving victims of domestic violence in the community.

The 18-hole event begins with lunch at 11:00 a.m., followed by the round of golf with special contests, prizes and gifts. The round will be followed by a cocktail hour and dinner. Registration is limited and will be taken on a first-received, first-served basis. The registration fee is $225 per golfer or $800 per foursome and includes a buffet lunch, 18 holes of premiere golf with cart, dinner/open bar, prizes and gifts. Attendance at the dinner only is also available for $75. To make your reservations online click here.
