Interns help with group and individual counseling sessions, help plan our fundraising events, and other activities that promote a violence-free life. In order to be considered for an internship, please complete and send the following:
- Resume
- Transcripts
- Weekly availability
- Learning agreement which includes instructor contact information
- Criminal Background Check
- DCFS Background Check
The learning agreement should provide the following information:
- How many on-site hours per week required
- What credentials the supervisor needs to have
- A breakdown of how many hours need to be spent on each area of the program
- Area of interest
All of this information can be sent via email or mail. Once all paperwork has been received, it will be forwarded to the appropriate department. You will either be contacted for an interview or sent a letter explaining the reason we were not able to place you at the present time.
All interns must complete 40 Hour Domestic Violence Training
