Prevention Programs

Know the Signs. Be the Support.

A Safe Place can come to your classroom, after-school group, sports team, or youth group to talk with you about dating violence and domestic violence, and how to help someone who you know is in an abusive relationship.

During our presentation, we will educate students about healthy and unhealthy behaviors in relationships, help them recognize signs of dating abuse, provide strategies for setting boundaries, and guide them on how to seek help or support themselves and others in unsafe situations.

We believe education should be accessible to everyone. That’s why our program is completely free, giving groups the opportunity to learn about domestic violence and human trafficking.

For more information about our educational program, please contact our Outreach Department at (847) 731-7165, ext. 1002
