Teen Talk

A Safe Place educates students in middle and high schools across Lake County about healthy relationships and dating abuse. Our presentations in classrooms, after-school groups, and other youth programs emphasize recognizing healthy and unhealthy behaviors in relationships. We also provide guidance on what to do if you find yourself in an unhealthy or potentially violent situation

If you’re interested in getting your school or group involved, we can provide posters and information to help spread the word to other students.

A Safe Place is always eager to hear from and work with students on how they would like to address the issue of teen dating violence in their school or community. Our goal is to help teens have safe, healthy relationships.
