Empowering Teens to Build Safe, Respectful Relationships
A Safe Place educates middle and high school students across Lake County about healthy relationships and dating abuse.
Our free presentations are offered in classrooms, after-school groups, and other youth programs. These presentations are designed to help students recognize healthy and unhealthy behaviors in relationships and understand what to do if they find themselves in an unhealthy or potentially violent situation.
For schools or groups interested in getting involved, we provide posters and informational materials to help spread awareness among students. We also welcome collaboration with students and are always eager to hear their ideas for addressing teen dating violence within their schools and communities.
Our goal is to empower teens with the knowledge and tools they need to build safe, healthy relationships.
