A Safe Place’s extensive and continuing community education is a key component in achieving our goal of eliminating domestic violence in our communities.
We provide programs that inform the public about the dynamics of domestic violence and the toll it exacts on families and on society.
Staff and volunteers from A Safe Place appear before corporate audiences, civic organizations, church congregations, and other public forums in an ongoing effort to increase awareness about the issue of domestic violence.
40-Hour Domestic Violence Training for Volunteers and Professionals
A Safe Place also hosts several 40-hour training workshops each year, equipping volunteers and professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to support survivors and strengthen community response.
