Individual Counseling

Supportive Counseling for Survivors and Families

Individual counseling sessions with A Safe Place’s counselors are free and encouraged for all survivors of domestic violence, including children, on both a residential and a nonresidential basis. Sessions are available with English and Spanish-speaking counselors.

One-on-one counseling offers survivors the opportunity to share the depths of their suffering and to vent their long-withheld anger and fears.

A Safe Place’s counselors help each survivor recognize and appreciate their individual strengths as they work with their counselor in setting new goals and designing a plan to achieve them.
