Taking the courageous step of calling A Safe Place’s 24/7 Help Line can be the first breakthrough toward escaping a life threatened by violence. Our staff and trained volunteers offer immediate counseling and support to survivors of domestic abuse, including a dedicated crisis line and TTY number for hearing-impaired individuals. We prioritize establishing the caller’s safety and validating their experiences before guiding them through available options, such as emergency shelter and other programs offered by A Safe Place
