Scattered-Site Transitional Housing

Domestic violence is the leading cause of homelessness for families of domestic violence. Many victims face homelessness when they flee abusive home. Their experiences are confounded by economic instability, often perpetuated by abusers.

Our Scattered-Site Transitional Housing Program, Sanctuary of Hope, provides safe, affordable housing, counseling, and supportive services for families who have fled abusive relationships at locations in the greater Chicagoland area. Counselors work closely with clients to define and plan their educational, financial, and job-related goals and then work with landlords to establish homes for them and their families. Survivors are provided with financial assistance for rent and utilities and have access to all the resources and programs at A Safe Place.

If you are interested in applying for one of our housing programs, please download and fill out the application forms below.
